He also accompanied the post with a video wherein the songstress was handed the record label’s treasure box.
“Unveiling a new artist is a reminder of how an artist have let themselves go through the laid down process of the Mavin academy, the testament of our faith in them and the coming together of our hard work,” he wrote.
“With the power vested in me by the Supreme Mavin Dynasty It’s my pleasure to introduce you to Mavin’s latest signee. Rapper, poet, singer and songwriter Lifesize Teddy, Pls follow and welcome @lifesize_teddy”
Mavin Records was founded on May 8, 2012, following the closure of Mo’ Hits Records, a record label owned by Don Jazzy and D’banj.
The label has grown to become one of the biggest Afropop institutions.
In the past decade of its establishment, the label has put out two music collaborations, including Chapter ‘X‘, their latest project, which housed the famous track ‘Overdose‘.
‘Chapter X’ was launched in 2022 to mark the label’s 10th year anniversary.
Marvin Records is home to music stars such as Rema, Ladipoe, Crayon, Magixx, Johnny Drille, and Boy Spyce.
It previously had megastars like Tiwa Savage, Reekado Banks, Wande Coal, and Korede Bello on its roaster.
