The album scheduled for global release on October 4, will also be co-produced by Sodi Marciszewer, who mixed and produced the last six albums of Fela Kuti, the late Afrobeat icon.

The project will be released through Record Kicks, the Milan record label, and distributed by Secretly Distribution.

Record Kicks also shared behind-the-scenes of the pair in the studio via social media.

Kravitz began his music career in 1981 but rose to the limelight in 1989 with the release of ‘Let Love Rule’, his debut studio album.

The 60-year-old won the Grammy Award for ‘Best Male Rock Vocal Performance’ for four years in a row — from 1999 to 2002.

He broke the record for most wins in that category and set the record for most consecutive wins in one category by a male performer.

Seun, on the other hand, is known for his controversial stance and socially conscious music, addressing socio-political issues in Nigeria and beyond.

The singer has released songs like ‘Bad Man Lighter’, ‘Opposite People’, ‘African Soldier’, ‘Kalakuta Boy’, and ‘Slave Masters’.
