The sonorous vocalist had stunned the audience and judges last week with his soul-wrenching rendition of ‘Someone You Love’ by Lewis Capaldi, Scottish pop singer, and ‘I’d Rather Go Blind’ by Etta James, American Jazz singer.

The 25-year-old had also caught the attention of viewers after he enjoyed key validation by Seyi Shay, when she stood up to present him a golden ticket during the live auditions.

However, before he was eliminated, Faith joined other contestants for a group performance of ‘One Love’ by Bob Marley, the late Jamaican reggae singer.

This week’s episode of the show had Praiz, Nigerian singer, as a guest artist to encourage the contestants. The contestants were also to give two rounds of performances each.

The night started with Francis Atela’s brilliant rendition of ‘No Woman No Cry’, Bob Marley’s 1974 hit track, followed by an amazing performance of Marvin Gaye’s ‘Sexual Healing’.

Akunna gave a gyrating delivery of ‘It Wasn’t Me’, a song by Shaggy featuring Rikrok, and then crowned the night with a touching rendition of ‘Set Fire To The Rain’ by Adele, British singer.

Kingdom dazzled the audience and the judges with the performance of ‘Holy Spirit’, a song by Majek Fashek, the late Nigerian reggae star, before he closed the night with yet another impressive delivery of James Brown’s ‘It is a Man’s Man’s Man’s World’.
