Kizz Daniel, the Nigerian singer, has slammed Tekno over his comment while refuting a claim that he received royalties worth almost N1 billion from their hit song ‘Buga’.
In May 2022, the singers released the song which enjoyed a positive reception.
But a fortnight ago, a blog claimed Tekno, in an interview, “said he got featured on ‘Buga’ with no legal agreement”.
The blog post also claimed the ‘Pana’ singer “said Kizz Daniel sends him 50 percent of the revenue generated from the song every month”.
It alleged that he “admitted to receiving almost N1 billion from Daniel after his ‘Buga’ tour”.
Reacting via X on April 14, Tekno described the interview as “fake”. He also implied that Kizz Daniel does not have such an amount to give.
“Him money no reach. Anybody wey put out that fake interview, thunder fire your mama,” he wrote.
On Monday, Kizz Daniel, however, slammed Tekno over his tweet. He also claimed he resuscitated Tekno’s music career with the hit song ‘Buga’.
“Dem mention money you sef dey talk… spewing shit like anus 🤣🤣 see ekuke way we rescue with BUGA !! 🤣🤣🤣 Oloribu omo ale,” he wrote on X.
In a swift response, Tekno questioned the motives behind Daniel’s tweet. Although he did not mention names, the tweet was widely seen as a direct response to Daniel’s post.
“Hope you are trending now f**l! Careful o, breeze blow foul n***h Dey Open, I’m not the one to be played with Before I Kattwilliams yours A** #insecurenarcissist,” he wrote.

Tekno has made a name in the Nigerian music landscape with his fusion of Afro-pop and Dancehall genres.
Kizz Daniel, on the other hand, gained fame with his breakout hit ‘Woju’ in 2015. He has also released several chart-topping songs.
