Terseer Kidd Waya, the reality star known professionally as Kiddwaya, has revealed why he avoids relationships with women from a lower social class.
Speaking on the Off The Record podcast, Kiddwaya, who is the son of billionaire Terry Waya, shared that introducing someone from a lower-income background to his affluent lifestyle often leads to complications.
The 32-year-old reality star said while these women may initially be humble and appreciative, their attitude tends to change over time.
Kiddwaya explained that after a few months, they often begin comparing themselves to others in his social circle.
This, he said, leads to expectations for luxury items, such as designer bags and expensive trips. He added that what was once seen as a special treat becomes an anticipated norm.
He noted that this sense of entitlement can create issues in the relationship and sometimes manifests as rudeness.
“At first, they’re thankful everything feels new and exciting. But after a few months, they start comparing themselves to others,” the reality star said.
“They want the same bags, the same trips, and soon, what was once special becomes expected. The entitlement sets in and sometimes turns into rudeness.
“That’s been my biggest issue dating someone from a lower class and bringing them into my lifestyle.”
Kiddwaya gained prominence as a contestant on the Big Brother Naija season 5.
