Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet, the Hollywood stars, have announced they are ending their marriage — after 16 years together.

The celebrity couple disclosed that they are “parting ways in marriage” in a joint statement shared on Momoa’s Instagram page on Thursday.

“We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times,” said the couple, who started dating in 2005 and officially tied the knot in October 2017.

“A revolution is unfolding ~ and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring.”

They, however, noted that their “devotion” to their children will remain “unwavering” in spite of the split.

“And so we share our family news, that we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because it is newsworthy, but so that as we go about our lives, we may do so with honesty and dignity,” the statement added.

“The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become.

“Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life and our children. Teaching our children what’s possible, living the prayer, may love prevail. J&L”.

Momoa, 42, and Bonet, 54, are blessed with two children — Lola, 14, and Nakoa-Wolf, 13.

Bonet is also a mother to Zoe Kravitz, 33, whom she had with Lenny Kravitz, her ex-husband.

Momoa is best known for playing the titular superhero Aquaman in the DC Cinematic Universe.
