Nigerian singer Iyanya has released an emotional video in tribute to Nigerian heroes lost entitled, ‘Not Forgotten’, on Friday.
‘Not Forgotten’ is a track off Iyany’s Signature EP released earlier this year by Don Jazzy founded, Mavin Records.
The music pays tribute to celebrated Nigerian entertainment icons such as Dagrin, Eric Arubayi, OJB Jezreel, CD John, Fatai Rolling Dollar, Nomoreloss, Justice Esiri, Enebeli Elebuwa and Sam Loco Efe among others.
The video, directed by Ogo Okpue, AMVCA winner, also pays tribute to his parents whom he lost years ago.
“NotForgotten is the most personal music I’ve ever made. The song is dedicated to all those we’ve lost including loved ones we’ve lost. It is for anyone who is missing someone,” he said
In 2016, the singer, who is touring Europe at the moment, became the seventh artiste to ink a recording deal with Mavin Records.
