The management of Mohbad says the autopsy result of the late singer will take months before it is released.
Born Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, Mohbad died under mysterious circumstances on September 12 and was buried the next day.
On September 21, the body of the 27-year-old music star was exhumed.
An autopsy was carried out that same day after which the police announced that they were awaiting the results.
This was due to the controversy surrounding his death.
Several months after the exhumation, however, details of Mohbad’s autopsy results are yet to be disclosed.
There have also been calls from several Nigerians — including singer Bella Shmurda and actress Tonto Dikeh — asking for the release of Mohbad’s body for burial.
Joseph Aloba, Mohbad’s father, had also lamented the delay in the release of his son’s autopsy result.
He said the delay is causing Mohbad’s remains “to suffer”.
But in a statement released via Instagram on Monday, the management said the autopsy result of the late singer will not be released immediately.
The statement said the police have investigated the matter. It, however, added that the autopsy results will take a “couple of months” before they are shared with the public.
“We know that nothing can bring Imole back, but we have cooperated with the authorities to make sure that all parties involved get clarity and closure,” the statement reads.
“The Police authorities have conducted an investigation and have communicated that the autopsy results from samples sent abroad will take a couple of months before they are shared.”

Mohbad’s management also denied the existence of a will. This was after Aloba claimed his son left a will before he died.
