The Practicioners of Content Creating, Skit-Making and Influencers Guild of Nigeria (PCCSIGN) have called out Multichoice Nigeria over an allegation made by Phyna, the BBNaija season 7 winner.
Multichoice is the organisers of BBNaija. Phyna, born Josephine Otabor, won the 2022 edition of the reality show.
But last week, the reality star claimed she was yet to receive all prizes and money promised by the show’s organisers for that season.
Her allegation came after Multichoice announced auditions for the ninth edition.
The PCCSIGN, in an open letter via Instagram on Monday, highlighted the list of gifts allegedly owed to the 27-year-old by some of the show’s sponsors.
The guild urged Multichoice to help in facilitating “the release of the prizes” from the sponsors.
PCCSIGN added that failure to do so would “reflect poorly on the sponsors” and “undermine the integrity of the show”.
“This is a young woman trying to get what she deserves. I have enough respect for (Multichoice, DSTv, BBNaija) but it is imperative that the sponsors uphold their commitments to winners of the show,” reads the caption of the post.

Phyna defeated more than 20 housemates for the N100 million grand prize among other gifts won during the show.
Last year, Phyna apologised for her behaviour during the first six months following the BBNaija win.
She also condemned the reality TV show, saying “it is too toxic”.
