Kolawole Ajeyemi, the husband of Toyin Abraham, says the fact that his wife supports a presidential candidate doesn’t mean he supports her.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Ajeyemi also warned critics to stop laying curses on his children because of their mother’s political views.
“Goodday everybody, it’s not like I asked anyone of you to vote for any candidate or campaigned for any party,” he said.
“The fact that my wife is supporting a specific party doesn’t mean that I’m supporting her.
“So those of you laying curses on my children I rebuke it all and I wish you all the same. And I repeat, I did not campaign for any candidate.”

Last month, Toyin came under social media criticism after she said she will vote for Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
The filmmaker, however, fired back at her critics, saying “I didn’t collect any money” from the APC presidential candidate.
The presidential election was held on Saturday with a total of 18 candidates contesting for Nigeria’s highest office.
Out of the 18 presidential candidates, four are leading the race for the election.
They include Tinubu, Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
