Mr. Macaroni, the skit-maker, has argued that the winning margin of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), in Lagos, should be way more.

The presidential election was held on Saturday with a total of 18 candidates contesting for Nigeria’s highest office.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday announced Obi as the winner of the presidential election held in Lagos state.

Obi polled a total of 582,354 votes to defeat Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) who secured a total of 572,606 votes.

Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) garnered 75,750 votes, while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and Adewole Adebayo of Social Democratic Party (SDP) had 8,442 and 772 respectively.

Reacting to the presidential election results in Lagos, Mr. Macaroni said the people’s power was “underestimated”.

He also said Obi won regardless of the “intimidation,” arguing that “the margin should be way more”.

“They underestimated the power of the people!!! They said that we are only online that we are not grassroots!!” Macaroni wrote.

“They didn’t realize that the suffering touch everybody! Na all of us be grassroots now!! Nigerians, the power will always be yours anytime you are ready to take it!!!

“Despite all the violence and intimidation unleashed in Lagos, Peter Obi has won Lagos State!!! The margin should be way more!!! I just want the people to know that the power is in our hands!!! They said no structure!! They said it is internet noise!!! LESSONS!!!!!.”
