i.Con, a ring-like band, can be worn over the conventional condom.

It measures sex performance and detects sexually transmitted infections like chlamydia and syphilis, according to its makers, British Condoms.

Using a nano-chip, the water-resistant device will be able to measure different variables during sexual intercourse and will also be available in one size with a band adjustment feature.

Apart from recording the number of calories lost during intercourse, the smartphone-connected device has a micro USB port for charging, and each charge lasts up to six to eight hours of usage.

This is what the world’s first smart condom looks like.
