Hilda Baci, the Nigerian chef, has revealed why she cannot be in a relationship with a man who can cook.

In a podcast interview with Cocktails And Takeaways, the chef said she enjoys cooking for people she cares about, especially her partner.

She said cooking is her way of expressing love and would happily prepare food, even in the middle of the night, if requested.

She added that her ideal man is someone who appreciates her culinary skills and is open to ordering food for her instead of cooking himself.

“I do not want a man that knows how to cook. I do not want it. I like cooking so much,” she said.

“My friends would tell you like Hilda would show you love, she will send you food. You will cook for you. That is kind of one of the things I like to do for people that I care about, especially for my man.

“You can wake me up in the middle of the night and say, ‘Babe, I want a doughnut. I want meat pie.’ And I am flying to the kitchen to make it for you.

“I want a man that can order me food. If you do not have a problem with ordering me food, I am in love.”

She previously revealed that cooking was not her childhood passion.

Baci gained fame for her record-breaking cooking marathon in May.

However, she was dethroned by Alan Fisher, an Irish chef, who surpassed her record in November.
