The Yetunde Bernard Company is organising a conference to help men find their path and stay ahead in a demanding and competitive society.
The inaugural edition of the conference, which is themed ‘The 21st Century Man: The Hustle is Real’, will hold on April 28 at Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island.
The event will include a conference, four masterclasses, an exhibition, and the live screening of a football match.
“In today’s world, we find that there is so much attention on the female whether as a girl child or as a woman,” Yetunde Bernard, convener of the conference, explained.
“There is everything available for a woman, you have conferences or resource centres and it looks like the menfolk are constantly being left out.
“Women are everywhere because they are being equipped.
“The idea of the Recall for Men is a resource centre for men to develop themselves and for those that are already developed to help others. For these men to find a place of expression so they have big plans for the future.”
Alibaba, popular comedian, will speak on family and fatherhood while Adebola Williams will speak on social belonging and acceptability.
DJ Jimmy Jatt and Edi Lawani will speak on people and relevance.
For the masterclasses, Bankole Bernard, president of National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA), will speak on aviation, travel, and tourism while Mudi & David Wej will speak on fashion and retail.
Kola Aina will speak on information and communication technology while Simon Kolawole and Kunle Afolayan, Nollywood filmmaker, will speak on media and arts.
Attendance for the conference is free but interested persons have to register. Participation in the masterclasses will attract a N10,000 fee.
