Alexer Peres, the estranged wife of Harrysong, the Nigerian singer, has revealed why she made a disturbing post on Instagram.
On Monday, Alexer shared a photo of the sniper insecticide alongside a sad-faced emoji.
Sniper, a poisonous and highly effective insecticide, is also a choice substance used for suicide in Nigeria due to its availability.
Alexer’s post raised concerns on social media with users calling on her family members to check up on her.
But in another Instagram post, Alexer said she put out her initial post because her current challenges were overwhelming and she “could not handle them”.
She also appreciated friends and families who checked on her, adding that she is now fine.
“Thanks to everyone that reached out. All I can say is I am fine now by God’s grace. I have faced many challenges but this one hit me hard and I felt I could not handle it,” she wrote.
“A lot went through my head in one second but thank God for having you all and my loved ones. God bless you all. I have learnt better and I’m sorry for the post I made.”
The entrepreneur has been in the news over her marital crisis with Harrysong.
The pair tied the knot in March 2021. They have two children. Their marital crisis, however, unfolded in January after an alleged WhatsApp chat between them surfaced on social media.
The singer later admitted that they were going through a marital crisis.
Alexer also opened up about their marital issues, adding that Harrysong “abused me verbally and physically”.
Harrysong recently accused Alexer of infidelity, claiming she got pregnant for another man while they were still married.
She, however, denied the claim, alleging that the singer is “always broke” because he is a “chronic cheat”.
