Halima Abubakar, the Nigerian actress, has thanked Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko for paying off her over N20 million debt.

The actress took to her Instagram page on Tuesday to share her excitement. She asked her fans to appreciate the couple on her behalf for coming to her assistance.

The film star, however, did not share sufficient details on what happened.

“Good morning to everyone who has been following this painful journey. I want you all to rush and thank them for me,” she wrote.

“Say a prayer to them @regina.daniels and her husband with changing my smile. Mrs Regina you are angel. May Allah be with you anytime. You are young but full of wisdom. Your mother raised you well. Am amazing husband.”

“I wish you success ahead as a senator. Clearing over 20m plus no easy. Big man no be by mouth.”

Reacting to the post, Regina Daniels expressed her love for the actress and prayed for her healing.

“Ooh mami.. Thank you too.. I pray that God continues to heal, protect and bless you🤗.. love you always Queen,” she wrote.

Halima has been in the news on several occasions over her health challenges.

She started her acting career in 2001 and has established herself as a prominent name in Nollywood since then.

The 37-year-old has starred in hundreds of Nollywood films including ‘Men in Love’, ‘Slip of Fate’, ‘Tears of a Child’, ‘White Hunters’, and ‘Area Mama’.
