Halima Abubakar, a Nigerian actress, says men who jump from one woman to another are likely to be gay.
In a post on her social media page on Tuesday, the 35-year-old Kano-born movie star, who appeared to be reflecting on factors that fuel promiscuity among men, linked the act to homosexuality.
Abubakar, however, did not provide any data to back her claim. She also did not provide the context within which the post was made.
“Don’t blame people who jump from one girl to another. Some times what they really want is another man. Don’t Hurt your self. Dust your self and move on. The world is deep okay so all the girls are bad? Nah bro. It is you. Be your self man,” she wrote on Instagram.
This is not the first time the actress will be making unsubstantiated comments on issues relating to men.
She had in June claimed — without evidence — that half of the men in the society are guilty of rape if survivors start reporting their experiences.
“If we are going to report rape or harassment. Half of the men are guilty,” she had said.
In April, the actress had stirred controversy on Instagram for using the photo of a US-based woman to inform her fans that she had put to bed.
