The love birds tied the knot in October 2017. The wedding was sponsored by BET, which produced ‘The Mane Event’, a 10-segment TV series, depicting wedding preparations and the ceremony.
Mane helped pioneer the hip hop sub-genre of trap music alongside T.I and Young Jeezy, his fellow rappers, in the 2000s. He has released 13 studio albums and over 71 mixtapes throughout his career.
In 2007, he founded 1017, his own label, and has worked with several artists like Drake, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Selena Gomez, Mariah Carey and Marilyn Manson.
In September 2017, the rapper published ‘The Autobiography of Gucci Mane’, where he revealed that he has a son born in 2007 whom he had not known about until the child was 10 months old.
