Funke Akindele, the actress cum movie producer, has assembled a star-studded cast for her upcoming movie titled ‘Finding Me’.
Akindele drummed up anticipation for the movie with a playful cast reveal via Instagram.
The A-list lineup for ‘Finding Me’ includes Femi Adebayo, Shaffy Bello, Omoni Oboli, Dele Odule, Sharon Ooja, Tina Mba, Dakore Akande, Omoni Oboli, Omowunmi Dada, Efe Iwara, and Joseph Benjamin.
Akindele also features fast-rising stars like Emeka Nwagbaraocha, Kemity, and AbdulGafar Abiola.
Plot details and the release date of ‘Finding Me’ are set to be revealed soon.
The production comes after Akindele’s box office hit ‘A Tribe Called Judah’, which grossed over a billion naira in revenue.
Akindele rose to prominence in 2008 for her movie ‘Jenifa’, which gained commercial success.
She has also been involved in many other productions including ‘Industreet’, ‘Maami’, and ‘She Must Be Obeyed’.
With a slew of awards and accolades, Akindele has established herself as one of the prominent names in Nollywood.
The producer was recently listed among Hollywood Reporter’s ‘40 Most Powerful Women in International Film’.
In October 2023, she revealed that she was bullied and denied movie roles due to her physical appearance.
She holds the record for the most wins in the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).
