FULL LIST: ‘Avengers,’ ‘Game of Thrones’ shine at MTV Movie and TV Awards

‘Avengers: Endgame’ and ‘Game of Thrones’ emerged winners at the 2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards, carting away the top prize in the ‘best movie’ and ‘best show’ categories respectively.

After coming head to head with 4 nominations apiece, ‘Avengers: Endgame’ came out on top with three wins, while ‘Game of Thrones’ scored one at the event on Monday night.

The Oscar-nominated documentary ‘RBG’ also scored four nods but was beaten by the evening’s best documentary winner “Surviving R. Kelly.”

Other top movies and TV shows that won awards this year included ‘A Star Is Born’, ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’, and ‘Schitt’s Creek’.
