Fancy Achonolu: Alexx Ekubo and I didn’t have sex for five years

Fancy Acholonu, the former fiancée to Alexx Ekubo, says she and the actor did not get intimate during the five years they dated.

Acholonu has been in the news since she apologised to the film star for calling off their wedding in 2021.

In a recent interview, the brand influencer said despite not having sex with her, she discovered he was allegedly cheating on her with curvy women.

The entrepreneur also said she did not break up with the actor because of the controversies surrounding his sexuality.

“His sexuality is not the reason I broke up with him. I’m very open-minded so regardless of what he prefers, love is love for me. I loved him for his personality and heart nothing more,” she said.

“He didn’t want to be with me intimately which was confusing and difficult for me to understand especially for 5 years so it did affect my self-esteem as I kept myself for him and when he would cheat with curvy women he wouldn’t perform with them either so I don’t know, I can’t confirm or deny his sexuality but for me, I loved him despite all and he still found ways to hurt me.”

Acholonu said she was not bothered about not getting intimate with him initially because he cited religious beliefs as his reason for abstaining from sex.

“Yes (five years without intimacy). That is embarrassingly true. When I met him I didn’t have much experience so it was easy to convince me that his decision was because of religion,” she added.

“But as he would constantly cheat and yes I caught him, it would hurt me because that’s not part of the religious believe he made our celibacy to be.

“Honestly this whole thing has been complicated beyond words so it’s unhealthy for me to continue this relationship.”
