Aituaje Iruobe, the Nigerian singer better known as Waje, has revealed her desire to collaborate with Tems.

The music star said she would like to team up with Tems in a Twitter post on Monday.

Waje also urged fans to “whisper” to the songstress about her wish.

“Imagine @temsbaby and I on track. Please, guys, whisper to her,” she wrote.

In her reaction, Tems, while referring to Waje as “sister,” asked her to check her inbox.

“Check yah dmss Siss,” she tweeted

This is coming a few weeks after BNXN, the singer formerly called Buju, announced his desire to work with Tope Alabi, the gospel musician.

Waje has established herself as a household name in the Nigerian music industry with several awards and recognition.

The 41-year-old has two studio albums and one extended play (EP) to her credit which are ‘W.A.J.E’ (2013), ‘Red Velvet’ (2018), and ‘Heart Season’ (2021) respectively.

Tems, born Temilade Openiyi, has been enjoying massive attention in the international music landscape since she was featured on ‘Essence’ — a song by Wizkid.

In May, the ‘Damages’ crooner became the first African singer to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for her role in ‘Wait For U’, the hit song by Future featuring Drake.
