Portable, the Nigerian singer, says Michael Jackson’s glory cannot match his own.
On Tuesday, the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner shared a video of himself driving through a part of Lagos state.
In the clip shared via Instagram, his fans were seen thronging his car to demand for money.
Some of them also attempted to block his car sensing the musician was not willing to stop.
Reacting, the singer bragged that the incident demonstrates his popularity.
“Why are you hitting my car. Don’t jump on my car. Micheal Jackson’s glory cannot match mine. This is madness. There is madness in Lagos,” he said.
Jackson was a household name in the global music industry until his demise on June 25, 2009 in Los Angeles, California.
He was one of the best-selling music artistes of all time with over 400 million records sold worldwide.
He also won several awards including 15 Grammy Awards, six Brit Awards, a Golden Globe award, and 39 Guinness World Records (GWR).
Years after his death, his influence on the music landscape continues to dominate discussions.
Portable gained popularity in December 2021 and has become a viral sensation since then due to his controversial personality.
The singer recently declared that he is on course to win Grammy award after clinching the ‘Artiste of the Year’ gong at Golden Stars Award.
