Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the BBNaija host, announced the new development on Sunday night during the first live eviction show.

He said housemates will now nominate someone they want to see stay in the house after marketing themselves to their fellow housemates.

According to him, the old nomination method has been scrapped.

“After the head of house game and the black envelope game, housemates would have the opportunity to sell themselves and pardon one fellow housemate,” he said.

“This replaces the usual nomination show. Instead of going into the diary room to nominate who you want to see leave the house, you would nominate who you want to see stay in the house.”

Ebuka said from next week, there will be a jury of ex-housemates who will decide who leaves the show from the bottom two or three housemates.

“Starting next week, we will have judges on this show, a jury from Big Brother composed of ex-Big Brother housemates,” he added.

“I will present them with the bottom housemates based on the votes and the jury must deliberate and vote and decide on who should be evicted.”

The BBNaija All-Stars reality TV show commenced on July 23, with 20 former housemates.

The show is expected to end on October 1.

The winner of this season will go home with a cash prize of N120 million, the highest ever since the inception of Big Brother Naija.
