Etinosa Idemudia, Nigerian actress, has tackled Johnson Suleman, general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, for calling out people who bleach their skin.
In a video posted on Celebration TV, his YouTube channel, the cleric had condemned those who engage in bleaching, noting such people are endangering their lives.
“Can I give you a counsel as a boy and a girl, don’t bleach. Listen, bleaching has no end. Anything that moves from the original colour has no end,” he had said during his sermon.
“That’s the problem. Once you start bleaching, there four disadvantages. Number one, you start smelling because you have taken off the original layer of your skin.
“The second of such is that when you bleach, some parts of your body react. They refuse to bleach. They don’t cooperate with you. That’s the truth, when you start bleaching, some parts of your body refuse to corporate with you because you are fraudster. At that period you start looking like a mad person.
“The third thing that happens to you is that you are open to cancer. Never bleach your skin. Funny enough some bleach. Funny enough some men also bleach. Your mates are fans of Manchester, Arsenal, and Chelsea, you are a fan of cream and you are a man.”
But reacting on her social media page, the controversial actress dismissed the pastor’s message, noting there is no link between bleaching and the kingdom of God.
She went on to question the cleric’s audacity for criticising those who bleach their skin, when according to her, his “side piece” also engages in such.
“There’s no relationship between bleaching and kingdom of God so my uncle Suleiman go and rest. Especially when Your side piece is one of us – bleaching gang member,” she wrote on Instagram.
Etinosa has made headlines on several occasions for controversial reasons including her recent threat to use the Quran as ashtray as she earlier did with the Bible.
