In a statement on Tuesday, the anti-graft agency said the suspects — Udemba Chukwuemeka (a.k.a Jody) and Jamal Jamiu Onasola (a.k.a. Jamal) — were apprehended at house F10, Victoria Crest 4 in the Lekki area of Lagos.

The commission said Chukwuemeka and Onasola are suspected of being involved in a dating scam.

The EFCC added that the suspects will be arraigned in court as soon as investigations are concluded.

“The two suspects, suspected of being involved in dating scam, described Njeng as their ” mentor”. While Chukwuemeka has been in Njeng’s residence for two years, Onasola has only stayed there for few months.

“They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.”

Skales earlier called out the anti-graft agency for raiding his home.

The singer claimed officials of the EFCC came to his house with weapons, including guns, and damaged his property.

He also alleged that they broke into his home while he and his six-month-old daughter were fast asleep, causing him to have a panic attack.

Skales also claimed his producer was physically assaulted with a stick on his leg during the raid.
