Skales, Nigerian rapper, has teamed up with Akon, Senegalese and American record executive, for a new single entitled ‘Kowope’.
The song, which was released on Tuesday, sees Skales eulogising hard workers who stay true to their struggle.
The collaborative project also comes as the rapper’s third release for the year 2020.
“I dey hustle for my daily bread. Oluwa cover me.I know this life is a struggle.But my hustle sure for me o,” Skales can be heard singing.
“Do your own make i do my own.I no like long story .Idey hustle for my daily bread. Oluwa cover me.”

Skales, whose real name is Raoul John, started writing rap songs in 2000.
Aside from Akon, he has worked with Jeremiah Gyang, Bankole Wellington, Falz among other renowned Nigerian singers.
