Aubrey Drake, Canadian rapper and singer-songwriter, says he has an upcoming projects with Divine Ikubor, Mavin Records-signed Nigerian singer better known as Rema.

During a live session with his fans on Instagram, the award-winning rapper was seen jamming to ‘Dumebi,’ one of Rema’s hit songs, while also lauding the the ‘Bad Commando’ crooner, .

“Big up Rema too. We have a sick songs together,” he said.

This continues what has been an impressive career run for the gifted Nigerian singer since he rode to the spotlight.

TheCable Lifestyle had earlier listed him among Nigerian artistes to look out for in 2020 after he snagged the ‘Next Rated’ category at the 2019 edition of the Headies.

‘Iron Man’, one of his hits songs, had also made Rolling Stone’s ‘Best of 2019’.

Rema had, in a recent interview, chronicled how his past challenges after losing his father and brother have continued to be his biggest inspiration in pursuit for greatness.

“At some points, things got tough I had to man up. My past life has the same effect on my present being in the music and taking things forward,” he had said.

The Edo-born star also made headlines when he joined other celebrities to condemn the failure of Nigerian leaders to fix the country’s health system amid the coronavirus pandemic.
