Ric Hassani, the Nigerian singer, has begun the year 2023 with a new single titled ‘My Only Baby’.
The music star announced the release of the song via his Instagram page on Friday.
In the single, Hassani showers encomium on his lover while giving her assurance of a lifetime commitment.
“Baby, you are just too fine. Anytime I see you, my body de dey all right. You are steady on my mind. See the way you fine. You too fine, girl, you fine like wine. Anything you want I do I be your lover and your fool,” the lyrics read.
“Cause I want to marry you. Anything you need I buy. Anything wey dey your mind, I wanna spend my life with you. I wanna make you my only baby.”

The singer also accompanied the song with a colourful video.
‘My Only Baby’ was produced by highly skilled beatmaker, Deeyasso.
Hassani has continued to enjoy fame in the country’s music landscape with several projects which are fetching him awards and recognition.
At the 2016 edition of the All Africa Music Awards, Hassani was nominated in three categories. He would also receive two nominations at The Headies 2016, including ‘Best Alternative Song’ for his track ‘Gentleman’.
In December 2018, ‘Believe,’ the singer’s collaboration with Falz and Olamide, won ‘Best Collaboration’ at the Galaxy Music Awards.
