Austin Richard Post, an American rapper and record producer better known as Post Malone, has released ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’, his long-awaited third studio album.
The new album, released on Friday, is a 17-track project which features an array of eclectic music stars and comes as a follow-up to the 24-year-old artistes’ ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’, his sophomore album released in April 2019.
Among the guest appearances on the album are DaBaby, American rapper; Future; Halsey; Meek Mill, US hip hop star; Lil Baby; Ozzy Osbourne; Travis Scott, American record producer; SZA, Swae Lee and Young Thug.
‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’, which was announced only six weeks after the release of his second studio album, also contains previously released hits like ‘Sunflower’ with Swae Lee, ‘Circles’, and ‘Goodbyes’ with Young Thug.
Shortly after the release of his second album, Malone had revealed he was working on his third project.
He, however, ended up delivering singles, one of which was ‘Sunflower’, a soundtrack for the animated superhero film ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’.
While his sophomore body of work debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, his debut studio album ‘Stoney’, released in 2016, peaked at number four and was eventually certified triple platinum.
Malone is acclaimed for blending musical genres and has received a Diamond certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), two American Music Awards (AMA), a Billboard Music Award, and an MTV Video Music Award.
