Adelusola Adefemi, Nigerian musician better known as Olakira, has come through with ‘Sere’, a collaborative song, featuring Zuchu, Tanzanian singer.
The ‘Hop in my Maserati’ crooner announced the audio release, alongside its visuals, on Friday via his Twitter page.
The track, which is off ‘4play the EP’, his upcoming project, simply echoes the desire of the singer for a sexual escapade, when he explicitly invites his “Omalicha” to come and have a taste of the pleasure-filled adventure.
“Omoge this kind feeling, omo na special feeling| baby je ka sere| the booty so fly no need visa| you dey make me go loco| girl your body na fire| Omalicha je ka mora with your big heavy something,” Olakira sings in a mixture of pidgin, Yoruba and English.
The video sees a stylish Olakira surrounded by models, sleekly and gorgeously walking on a fashion runway, dancing seductively, with soft efforts made to depict the lyrics of the song.
The 31-year-old singer has continued to blaze the trail in the Nigerian music scene with his unique kind of songs which span Afro-pop, R&B, and Afro-beat.
The fast-rising songwriter also teamed up with Davido, a multiple-award winner, for a masterclass delivery of the remix to ‘Maserati’ — the song that fetched him fame and a huge fanbase.
Olakira recently announced the acquisition of his first house and a new car.
