Niniola, the Nigerian singer, has released her highly anticipated studio album, ‘Press Play’.

The 14-track project was delivered on Friday across all streaming platforms.

The singer’s latest body of work follows the success of her previous albums ‘This Is Me’ (2017) and ‘Colours and Sounds’ (2020).

In 2021, the songwriter also put out two EPs ‘6th Heaven’ and ‘Lagos to Jozi’.

‘Press Play’ includes standout tracks such as ‘Lavish’, ‘Pepper Dem’, ‘Level’, ‘Chelete Moleko’, ‘Sorry’, ‘Taste’, and ‘Formula’.

Others are ‘All Eyes On Me’, released last year, ‘Mr DJ’, ‘Rababa’, ‘Energy’, ‘Wami’, ‘Want’, and ‘Komiyo’.

The album features collaborations with artistes such as Pheelz, the Nigerian
producer-turned-singer, Akeem Adisa, Oskido, Kah-Lo, and Smangori.

Niniola rose to fame after participating in the sixth season of Project Fame West Africa on 2013.

She has previously cited Dolly Parton, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, The Cranberries, Madonna, Beyoncé and Angélique Kidjo as her key musical influences.

She released her debut single ‘Ibadi’ in March 2014 and since continued to pull the strings in the country’s entertainment industry with several beautiful projects.

She has received several awards and recognitions for her craft.

The music star was nominated for Most Promising Act to Watch at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.

She won the female category of ‘Best Vocal Performance’ at the 14th edition of The Headies.
