Markiss Lulu, the fast-rising Nigerian singer, has put out a new single titled ‘Runaway’.
The singer announced the new project in a post on his Instagram page.
In ‘Runaway’, Lulu expresses his emotions to his love interest. The song also sees him blend his sonorous rhythm with poetic lines.
“Markiss Lulu’s style of music is inspired by years of listening to the unique sounds and storytelling talent of international artistes,” a statement by his management reads.
“Following closely under his acclaimed mentor, Wizkid, the young artiste is bringing more of his sounds to the Afrobeats scene. Markiss Lulu believes music is the medicine of the mind.
“Stay posted for “Runaway” and other amazing songs from Markiss Lulu as he has a lot in store for the music world.”

The statement also added that Lulu believes “music is the medicine of the mind”.
In April, the singer released ‘Iya Mi’, a song produced by Arrivedercibeatz — as an appreciation and acknowledgment of mothers worldwide. He also recently put out a hit song titled ‘Doro’.
