Portable, the controversial singer, has released a diss track aimed at his colleague Asake over his recent Grammy loss.

Asake lost out on the ‘Best African Performance’ category at this year’s Grammy Awards to Tems.

In a snippet of the track shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday, Portable mocked Asake’s Grammy outfit, a camouflage print jacket and pants.

He also taunted Asake for wearing an outfit typically worn by military men to the ceremony, only to lose the award.

Portable described himself as the “reigning artiste” and argued that he bears a facial resemblance to American rapper Lil Wayne.

“No be end of world/ It is just a Grammy/ My glory go kill my enemies/ Grammy ti wa taja teran/ Your papa no be army/ O lo wosho army/ You wan collect Grammy/ Your papa no be army/ O lo wosho army/ Ofe fi gba Grammy and your papa no be army/ Better go join academy Mr Money/ E mi mon reign/ E oni brain/ Mofu jo Lil Wayne,” he sings.

This is not the first time Portable has clashed with Asake. In January, Portable cautioned fans to stop comparing him to Asake after the latter shared footage of his new look, featuring shorter hair and face tattoos.
