Lojay, the fast-rising Nigerian singer, has joined forces with Sarz, music producer, and Wizkid for a new project titled ‘LV N ATTN’, his highly anticipated extended play (EP).

The EP was released in the early hours of Friday while the title stands for ‘Love and Attention’.

The body of work embodies five tracks, with the entire project mixed and mastered by Sarz.

‘Tonongo’, the lead single, was released in April to critical acclaim. Lojay had earlier explained that the song was inspired by the atmosphere of a certain strip club.

“Tonongo is about expressing the depth of emotion that lies beyond the surface. The single was inspired by the atmosphere of a strip club – moody and dark – a fitting ode to the dancer the song was written about,” he had said.

“I enjoy the duality of the song. It ended up making itself and that’s the beauty of it, the beauty of music. It’s so spiritual. I’m just a vessel. I hope people relate to it and find beauty in it.”

Among the tracks in the body of work are ‘Park 0 X3’, ‘LV N ATTN’, which features Wizkid, Grammy award-winner, ‘Panty!’, and ‘Monalisa’.

The project showcases Lojay’s sublime vocals alongside Sarz’s immersive production which blends contemporary Afrobeats with urgent Hip-Hop and sensual R&B sounds.
