Korede Bello, the Nigerian singer, has come through with his latest single titled ‘Maria’.
In the song, released on Friday, the songwriter expresses his admiration for a certain lady called Maria.
“She dey follow me cos I dey ball/ She dey find me like terminator/ As I sit down for house/ I begin dey hear knock on the door/ tell me say she don dey my domot/ I never see this kind thing before,” he sings.
“Oh she bad/ oh yeah she bad me I concur/ way she moving it dey make me nornor/ no be like girl you dey make me dey love up/ Maria Maria ooh/ my beautiful odo o/ you no need no contour/ cause your natural beauty tan naa oh no.”
Bello is among the popular figures in the Nigerian music industry.
He gained popularity after dropping ‘Godwin,’ his hit single in January 2015.
Bello has won a plethora of awards.
In a recent interview with TheCable Lifestyle, the singer opened up about his challenges as a Nigerian artiste.
“The challenges I faced were a long time ago but I believe that as an industry, we are growing and we are in a digital world right now,” he said.
“When I started, I really did not just intend to make music for Nigeria. As I said earlier, I do not make music for types of people.
“I make music for human beings or human needs.”
