Joeboy, the Nigerian singer, has finally put out his highly anticipated extended play (EP) titled ‘Body, Soul & Spirit’.

The singer released the 5-track project on streaming platforms on Friday.

‘Body, Soul & Spirit’ is a collection of songs that explore the themes of love, loss, and self-discovery.

It marks a shift from Joeboy’s typical Afrobeats style, embracing elements of R&B, soul, and pop.

The EP opens with the track ‘Only God Can Save Me,’ a slow and atmospheric song that sets the tone for the rest of the body of work.

Other songs in the project include; ’24/7′, ‘Telephone’, ‘Enemy’, and ‘Surviving’.

The lyrics delve into introspection and personal themes, complemented by smooth and emotive vocals.

Born Joseph Akinwale, Joeboy gained popularity under emPawa Africa, a record label owned by Mr Eazi.

The singer has won several awards and recognition for his craft.

In 2019, he won the ‘Best Artiste in African Pop’ prize at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).

The singer also bagged the ‘Best Pop’ category at the Soundcity MVP Awards Festival in 2020.

Joeboy once said that meeting Wizkid, the Grammy-winning music star, was the confirmation that he would be successful in the music industry.
