Martins Okwun, the Nigerian singer better known as J. Martins, has come through with a new single titled ‘Gimme Love’.
The musician announced the release of the song via his social media handles on Friday.
In the song, the singer croons about the depth of his love for his woman and his determination to do anything for her sake.
“Looking down the window, feeling super fly, thinking about you, e dey help me cool my temper, I feel your warm and embrace,” he sings in a mixture of English and Pidgin.
“You know say me I go dey craze ooo…me I dey wait for your love ooo… I’m falling for your love, give me this your love, I dey mad for you.”
J. Martins has established himself as a popular name in the Nigerian music landscape with several chart-topping projects. He has also won a plethora of awards.
The musician is best known for some of his hit songs such as ‘Oyoyo’, ‘Jupa’, and ‘Good Or Bad’.
The singer has made the headlines on a few occasions for his comment on national issues.
Last year, he lamented the widespread insecurity in the country under the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.
