Davido, multiple-award winner, has returned to social media and the music scene with a beautiful offering titled ‘FEM’.

The Afropop singer took to his social media pages on Thursday to share his first official solo single of the year — after a short hiatus.

In the track, which was accompanied by a video, Davido croons about talkativeness ahead of ‘A Better Time,’ his long-awaited studio album.

‘FEM’ has its title derived from an echoism in Yoruba language often used to shush people.

The single comes a few weeks after footage from one of Davido’s shoots leaked on social media, giving the impression that the singer’s next track would be titled ‘Para’ due to the wording used therein.

‘FEM’ opens up with Davido disembarking from an aircraft ahead of his entourage, with Asa Asika, a showbusiness mogul, accosting him on the tarmac.

But this gives way to another scene where the singer and his team shut down the streets with a fleet of vehicles as he eulogises his 30 Billion Gang (30BG) as being a force to reckon with in its clime.

“E be like you don dey talk too much. Small talk you don dey talk who talk. Fem! (Baddest)!,” Davido croons.

Before the song release, the singer was last seen on social media in June.

“To the people talking about you because they don’t understand your shine, they don’t understand your grace, they don’t understand why they can never be what you are or have what you have… we say #FEM… Heard y’all missed me,” he wrote.
