Burna Boy, Nigerian Afrofusion star, has featured on a new EP by M.anifest, a Ghanaian singer, alongside Simi, an R&B vocalist.
‘The Gamble’, a seven-track project, which also features Moelogo, British-Nigerian songwriter, was released on Monday and enlists MikeMillzOnEm, Drvmroll, Rvdical the Kid, Mike Kwa6i, and Adiktive as producers.
The EP comes weeks after M.anifest had enthused about the relative ease with which Ghanaian acts can now initiate collaborative projects with Nigerian singers.
While Burna Boy features on ‘Tomorrow’ the second track of the project, Simi puts her lyrical prowess on display in the sixth track entitled ‘Big Mad’.

M.anifest has made giant strides in the music scene in recent times after having earned himself the third-place honor at the International Songwriters Competition (ISC) in 2015.
Speaking on the artistes he looks to enlist in his next project, the talented singer said Asa, a Nigerian-French songwriter, would make a great addition on account of the “magic” that comes with her style of music.
“It’s only natural that we connect. In my next project, I’ll love Asa. It’ll be great to work with her. She’s awesome. She’s quite special with her magic. It’ll be nice to get something going on that side,” the 36-year-old record producer had said.
“Collaborations between Nigerian and Ghanaian artistes are becoming effortless. It has always been the case that we have much in common than we have different. We all speak pidgin. We all compete in foods. For lots of music that come from here, people already see it as one thing.”
