Bella Shmurda, the Nigerian singer, has teamed up with Nasty C, the South African rapper, for the remix of his hit track ‘Philo’.

The Afrobeat singer announced the release of the song’s remix on his Instagram page on Friday.

The original track, which was released in September 2022, featured Omah Lay as a guest artiste.

“Nothing wey I no go do for my Philo / Rest on me like pillow / Omo to por ten kilo (2x) / I dey like you no be whyning / You’re highkey / You dey play for my mind ah,” they sing.

“I turn into Kelvin Gates for it / All up in your walls like I paint for it / I stayed for it / I cleared another day for it / I wait for it while you’re in the restroom / Tryna impress me while I’m tryna impress you / We can keep it going till noon / Just press snooze / A couple of missed calls from work / Will text soon.”

Born Akinyibi Ahmed, Shmurda began his career when he released ‘Vision 2020’, his 2019 hit single.

In 2020, he released a chart-topping hit track titled ‘Cash App’ which featured Zlatan Ibile and Lincoln.

The song shot him into the limelight and earned him a nomination for the ‘Next Rated’ category at the 14th edition of The Headies.

Nasty C is known for his powerful rap deliveries and has established himself in the global music industry.
