British-Nigerian doctor accused of having sex with ‘vulnerable’ patient

Oluwafemi ‘Tijion’ Esho, the UK-based cosmetic doctor of Nigerian descent, has been accused of having sex with a “vulnerable” patient.

According to the Daily Mail, a medical tribunal in Manchester heard how Esho allegedly had sexual intercourse with the patient — a sex worker — at one of his clinics after having an improper emotional relationship with her.

The celebrity cosmetic doctor was in the public eye in October 2022 following an investigation by the medical watchdog over allegations of sexual misconduct made against him.

Esho, 42, who has featured on ITV’s This Morning, BBC’s Morning Live, and E4’s Body Fixers, was thereafter restricted from practice while an inquiry was conducted by the General Medical Council (GMC).

As part of interim conditions, the doctor was warned that he must not carry out consultations on female patients without a chaperone or have contact with patients outside of a clinical setting.

During the tribunal sitting, Esho was said to have promised to give the patient botox in return for sex.

Botox is a drug made from a toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. Doctors normally use it in small doses to treat health problems, including temporary smoothing of facial wrinkles and improving your appearance.

The tribunal heard how the woman, who provided sex services through Only Fans and webcams, had visited the doctor after she heard about a designer lip procedure that he provides at his clinics in Harley Street, Wimbledon, Newcastle, and Dubai.

Chloe Hudson, who represented the GMC, told the tribunal that after an appointment in July 2019, she started following him on Instagram.

Hudson claimed the doctor also responded to his patient’s posts with “strong and sexual content”.

Esho was said to have booked an appointment at his Newcastle clinic where nobody would disturb the pair during sex.

The tribunal heard that in exchange for sexual services, the doctor promised to give her botox.

The woman was said to have complained to the GMC because she believed he “took advantage of her vulnerable position”.

Esho, however, denied the allegation. The doctor was said to have admitted four of the ten charges against him.

He admits that between July 2019 and February 2022, he behaved inappropriately by exchanging messages with the patient.

He also admits to having an ‘improper emotional relationship’ with her between July 2019 and May 2022; and that his conduct concerning both allegations was “sexually motivated”.

The tribunal is expected to continue for 15 days.
