Dextertrone, the fast-rising Nigerian singer, has come through with his extended play (EP) titled ‘Soul Food II – Ghetto Stories’.

The singer announced the release of the project on Thursday.

Dextertrone features other fast-rising artistes like Bownee Styless, Rybeena and Bhadboi Oml in the body of work.

The tracks in the project include ‘Zero Fugazzi’, ‘Chico’, and ‘OG Vibes’.

In a statement shared with TheCable Lifestyle, the singer revealed ‘Soul Food II – Ghetto Stories’ explores themes including hope, survival, and resilience.

Dextertrone, who prides himself as the “MJ of my generation” also expressed his dedication to releasing songs that listeners can relate to.

“Soul Food II – Ghetto Stories’ puts out the narrative of survival, resilience, and hope. Each track takes listeners on a journey through the streets, providing a voice for the voiceless and shedding light on untold stories,” the statement reads.

The budding singer had earlier dropped the prequel of the EP ‘Soul Food: The Playlist Vol.1’ in 2023.

Aside from both body of works, Dextertrone has also released several hit singles since he ventured into the music landscape.
