Dammy Krane, the Nigerian singer, has continued to call out Davido, his colleague, despite a cease and desist order served him.

On Friday, the DMW boss threatened to sue Krane for alleged defamation of character and cyberbullying. This was after Krane took to X to accuse him of being a “murderer” and “cheat”.

Through his legal representatives, Davido issued a cease and desist letter to Krane while denying his claims.

Chikaosolu Ojukwu, Davido’s legal representative, said Krane’s allegations “are unverified, false, and outlandish”. The lawyer described Krane’s post as “malicious, orchestrated to defame and injure the reputation of Davido”.

Krane was also asked to delete the tweet on Davido within 24 hours or face legal action, including damages and injunctive relief.

“Immediately refrain from any further publication of defamatory statements against our client on any platform whatsoever,” the statement from Davido’s lawyer read in part.

“Take notice that your failure to comply with these demands within the stipulated timeframe will compel our client to pursue all available legal remedies, including but not limited to initiating legal proceedings against you for damages and injunctive relief, and escalating this matter to the relevant law enforcement agencies.”

He however persisted, as he shared footage of a police officer discussing the circumstances surrounding the death of Tagbo, a friend of Davido.

“Btw I’m not deleting any tweet. Stand ten toes on my word. The truth is the light. Justice for Tagbo,” he wrote.

The singers have not been on good terms since 2022 after Krane accused Davido of unpaid debts.
