In a recent chat with Esquire Middle East, a Dubai-based media house, the singer said the docu-series will be titled ‘David’ and it will chronicle his life.

He added that it is a big project and will be out in December.

“I have a movie coming out in December with Netflix. It’s very, very big,” he said.

“This is the first time I’ve said anything about it, actually. It’s a documentary-a docu-series about my life called ‘David’. I shouldn’t be talking about this.”

On May 8, Davido marked his 12th year in the music industry.

With strings of awards and honourary mentions, the singer has established himself as one of the leading names in the African music industry.

Since the album’s release, ‘Timeless’ has continued to garner millions of streams across music platforms.

On April 10, it secured the 37th spot on the United States Billboard 200 chart.

The album also set its first-day streaming record for an African album on Apple Music in the same month.
