Davido, the Afrobeats singer, has splashed millions on a new diamond necklace to celebrate the success of ‘Timeless’, his fourth studio album.
In a post via Instagram on Tuesday, the singer shared a video of himself wearing the luxury piece.
In an accompanying caption, he wrote: “Turned sand to 💎 ⌛.”

Local Kettle Brothers, the jeweller, also took to social media to discuss the jewelry.
They described the pendant as a custom piece crafted to commemorate the achievement of Davido’s album.
Local Kettle Brothers said the pendant boasts an hourglass design embellished with meticulously chosen diamonds, including a centerpiece diamond weighing 350 carats.
The jeweller added that it symbolises the singer’s “style, creativity, and lasting beauty”.

Davido released ‘Timeless’ on March 31.
The project boasts a rich variety of collaborations with talented artistes such as Asake, Fave, Focalistic, Angelique Kidjo, and Skepta, among others.
It also features chart-topping tracks including ‘Over Dem’, ‘In the Garden’, ‘Godfather’, ‘Feel’, ‘Unavailable’, ‘Kante’, ‘Bop’, ‘E Pain Me’, ‘Away,’ ‘Precision’, and ‘Na Money.’
Others are ‘U (Juju)’, ‘No Competition’, ‘Picasso’, ‘For the Road’, ‘LCND’, and ‘Champion Sound’.
On April 10, the album secured the 37th spot on the United States Billboard 200 chart.
‘Timeless’ surpassed one billion streams across major platforms on August 3.
With a slew of awards and accolades, Davido has firmly established himself as one of the prominent names in the African music industry.
