In July, Adeleke, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secured 403,371 votes to defeat his closest challenger, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 375,027 votes.
The ex-lawmaker won 17 LGAs while the incumbent governor secured victory in 13 LGAs.
This will be the first time Davido would be appearing at a public function since the death of Ifeanyi, his only child with Chioma Rowland.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos police public relations officer, confirmed Ifeanyi’s death to TheCable Lifestyle on November 1.
The three-year-old boy was said to have drowned in a swimming pool at his father’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos state.
Ifeanyi’s demise elicited a wave of mixed reactions on social media platforms, with many fans and celebrities paying tributes to the little boy.
TheCable had reported how Tobi Adegboyega, the UK-based pastor, cancelled his birthday concert over Ifeanyi’s death.
