Davido, the Afrobeats star, has gifted a hotel staff $10,000 after she returned money that was misplaced by a customer.
Ngozi Mary, a staff of Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos, had returned the sum of $70,000 that was misplaced by one of the customers of the hotel.
Ngozi has since been praised by many Nigerians on social media for her integrity and honesty — despite the current economic situation of the country.
Reacting to the selfless act of the hotel staff, Davido offered to give Ngozi $10,000 on Sunday.
The ‘Timeless’ hitmaker took to his Twitter page to request the lady’s information in order to reward her.
“Find her for me. I donate $10k,” the singer wrote.

In a now-viral clip, the apparently excited lady could be seen appreciating Davido for the cash reward during a video call.

The 30-year-old singer is known for his remarkable act of kindness and philanthropy.
In November 2021 on the occasion of his birthday, the megastar launched a Twitter fundraiser and donated the N250 million realised to orphanages.
Last week, Davido again donated the sum of N237 million to various orphanage homes across Nigeria.
The singer also reaffirmed his commitment to “continually assist the less privileged in any capacity”.
