Globacom, the telecom company, has enlisted Davido, the award-winning singer, for the latest episode of ‘African Voices’, its show on CNN.

African Voices Changemakers features top entertainers, creatives, athletes, and members of the public who are making a difference, finding ways to impact their communities, and making cultural contributions.

The show holds every Saturday at 11.30 am with a repeat episode on Sunday at 4.30 am and 7.30 pm respectively on CNN.

Davido gained prominence after he came through with his debut album titled ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ (OBO) in 2012.

He has continued his impressive run since then and established himself as a household name in the global music industry.

The musician has been in the news since he released ‘Timeless’, his fourth album which featured 17 tracks.

The project featured several music heavyweights including Asake, Fave, Focalistic, Angelique Kidjo, and Skepta, among others.

Last year, Davido lost Ifeanyi, his first and only child with Chioma Rowland, the celebrity chef.

The musician earlier revealed he was able to overcome the incident due to support from people across the globe.

“One thing that has helped was the support from everybody. Everybody knows that Chioma and I didn’t deserve that. If anybody in the world kind of deserves it, it shouldn’t be us,” he had said.

“Personally the support I got from people was one of the things that helped me stand up again.”
