TapJets, a private jet charter company, has said that Nigerian singer Dammy Krane was arrested for booking its plane with stolen credit card details.

Dammy Krane was on Friday arrested for in the US for alleged grand theft and credit card fraud, armed conspiracy, forgery, and intent to defraud.

He was booked by the Miami-Dade County Corrections, Florida, and was detained at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center where his bail was set at $5000.

TapJets works in similar fashion to the Uber taxi service. The only difference is that customers are booking private jets.

Customers can hire a jet in less than 30 seconds without a pre-existing membership or paperwork being required.

The Fargo, North Dakota-based company has vowed to prosecute the Nigerian singer to the “fullest extent” of the law.

“Yesterday @dammykraneofficial booked @TapJets flight using stolen credit card numbers. Our policy is to prosecute to the fullest extent,” the company wrote on its Instagram page.

The information was also corroborated on the verified Twitter account of TapJets.

Of late, the singer has shared several pictures of himself using the private jet service.

In the past two weeks, Dammy Krane has uploaded not less than seven photos – where he’s either posing beside a private jet or inside one.

In one of the Instagram posts, he shared a video of himself eating jollof rice.

Meanwhile, some tweets put out via the Twitter account of the singer did not deny the allegations or his arrest.

One tweet read: “In weird situations like this, you go start to see, who is with you and who isn’t. No fake love.”

In another tweet, the singer said he will reveal “everything” in due time.

“This one, that one, rumor…One time for my fans, new material coming, I go talk everything,” read another tweet.

The singer was previously signed to 2baba Idibia’s Hypertek Records before Davido announced in September 2016 that he had joined Davido Music Worldwide.
